Well made and will last quite a long time with a soft mouthed dog. What a lot of people don't seem to understand is that these are specifically made for retrieving breeds of dog for training purposes. These are not toys! A dog that chews its toys will make short shrift of one of these! The only minor negative comment would be on the throwing toggle which is made of half inch tubing and can catch on the inside of the fingers when throwing the dummy. The canvas is good quality and compares well with other dummies I have owned/used over the last 40 or so years.

Nice retrieve dummy, bought to replace a very old one, but looks like it may last a long time too. The only thing I wasn't keen on was the cheap, nasty toggle, but not a biggy, I replaced it with my own

Very good quality and exactly as described… grab handle makes throwing very easy and no feeling that it’s going to rip from the dummy, which is essential when needing to concentrate efforts on training the dog to sit/stay before being given the command to retrieve. My 3yr old field lab managed to get hold of one whilst in the house and made a bit of a mess of it by chewing on it (although it’s still in tact as it’s made of a tough wearing outer) so keep well out of dogs reach when not in use… wish I’d got these from the start of training and have now purchased a mini version for my 4 month field lab
