I've been using this smart energy meter for a few days now, and I'm really satisfied with its performance. I housed the device in a DIN rail enclosure, where it occupies 4 modules (4p). I also added a 1-module (1p) sized fuse for additional safety. This setup helps me keep track of costs and usage, and the accurate amp readings have been particularly useful.The build quality is solid, and the device itself is sleek and modern, blending seamlessly into the enclosure. The features, especially the mobile app have been incredibly useful in reviewing the usage and costs. It's a bit on the pricier side, but the functionality and reliability justify the investment.Overall, it's a great product that has exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to enhance their setup with accurate monitoring and robust performance.

The meter is used to register and measure voltage, current, power factor, frequency, and connect to smart phone via a wifi app. From the measured data, a running total of electricity cost can be calculated, although the device has no input for my cost per electricity unit, so this must be done manually.The meter is din rail mounted and can be used for any Mains household AC supply and feed. This is primarily intended as a consumer unit, but in all probability, should only be fitted with permission of the board and by a qualified professional electrician, if installed as a consumer unit.The meter can be used, purely as a data monitoring meter showing the above parameters in nice clear easy to read readouts. If it's connected to the Smartlife or Tuya app, more data can be recorded, plus a whole section is provided for timed output sessions, ie a mains on/off timer.Large size Connections ports are provided for mains in/out terminals, and are clearly marked and a safety cover clips over the screw clamps for extra safety and security. There is no provision however for tamper proof wire crimps. When running on wifi, a blue connection light is visibleThe unit is rated at a maximum of 100amps 26kw. One possible and useful application could be for a solar system installation, using a grid tie connection. The timed outputs and data monitoring in this scenario can be very helpful in setup and fine tuning of the solar panels.Considering that this meter can be used as a standalone monitor, or connected to an app via wifi, it provides more than the usual control of output and data monitoring. IF it had a total cost option, it might be even more useful, although as stated this can be calculated from the measured records.

Fabulous piece of kit!I have been looking for a smart meter for some time and recently got into home automation, and this uses the Tuya (a.k.a. "Smart Life") system and picked up and worked straight away on my system.It has a bright clear display, an accurate reading, and it retains its settings if the power is disconnected.It used the Smart Life app that I already have for some heaters, and it immediately detected the meter, asked me for wifi details to use (and I have my smart devices on a separate network to my normal network) and added it to my account and I was then able to query it for all its stats, history, etc. with ease.It automatically picked up time and date and started feeding data back, and allowed remote-control of itself so I could cut the power from the app (this could be used, for example, to cut the power if a smart water leak alarm or fire alarm sounds). The signal strength was good, even through walls and inside an electrical box.It has a standard DIN rail fitting which means it can be added to your consumer unit (I'm just waiting for an electrician friend to wire mine in properly) and it was simple to read even without the fancy technology.Great product for an amazing price.
