These one-hand pieces are great for teachers wanting to improve a student's playing ability in one hand, if a student injures one hand/arm, and/or if you want your student to use the left hand or right hand melody in the book and create an accompaniment or counter melody for the book's melody. I have used these books for all three of the purposes, and I have found all levels of the books useful for my students.

I have a piano student who had an accident while cutting wood and cut off his pointer and middle fingers. I needed something to give him hope that he could still accomplish something in the music area. It was probably a bit elementary for him, but easy enough that he should be encouraged.
