Works like a charm. the only problem is the mounting configuration sucks. the paneling in your RV doesn't hold it in place. you're going to have to help it out on staying put . I made a little border out of wood and secured it no problems with it falling out now. Poor mounting design . design

Easy set up, easy instructions with great diagrams, I just wish they made a waterproof /portable one, with everything in a one hand held box that you could leave on a boat to keep track on trolling motor power use, solar panel input, and battery set up/condition...EDIT; People need to follow instructions for proper hook-up, for proper calibration of unit, or when charging battery the unit will not know how much power went in and will think the battery is still low when fully charged... I believe I too,... made the same mistake, in the hook-up as a few other people on here seem to have made... The negative wire from the charging unit, (solar panel) needs/must be hooked up to the negative side of the shunt for the unit to keep track of what goes in and what goes out of the battery, not to the negative side of the battery itself... C-(charge-) or P-(output-) of the shunt ...

Some ppl here seem to have bad readings from this battery monitor, i suspect they did NOT install it correctly. The monitor MUST be directly IN-LINE with your entire DC ground circuit, that means your Battery bank ground must be isolated to the shunt only (B-), then the rest of your trailer is grounded on the P- side of the shunt either with a cable or a buss bar. If you dont know what you are doing, get a professional to do it. If your professional doesnt know what they are doing, find one that does lol. I have had Zero (0) issues, the monitor has been fairly accurate after I correctly PROGRAMMED it, and its nice that you can turn the backlight off/on by holding the
