This is a great feed box for Squirrels, constructed of good strong, sturdy materials in a manner that will make it weather the elements and wear well with repeated use/refills. There is a good strong metal attachment affixed to the back of the feed box to allow you to affix it to a tree, wall or similar surface to try and ensure that its intended audience, ie squirrels, will be its main user rather than mice, rats, vermin.The circular openings on the feed box are larger than those on a bird box, the space inside large enough to store a lot of nuts and feed for the squirrels. The "perch" at the front is large enough for a squirrel or two to sit or hang from and eat the feed.In practice this feed box is large enough and resembles in appearance a birdbox enough that birds, including ravens and large crows, were attracted to it and ate some of the feed out of it as it was accessible to them. I suppose it could be used for bird feeding too if that is your preference. Recommended.

Ist schon mein zweiter. Sieht schön aus in dem Braun. Wird auch von den Eichhörnchen gern geleert / Walnüsse, Hasel und Erdnüsse. Die Plattform sollte nochmal genagelt / verschraubt werden, weil die Hörnis diese als Absprungrampe benutzen, sonst zerlegen die das Teil gnadenlos.

Perfect feeding station, easy to install, not sure how long it will last as it is very light weight but is exactly as described.
